For years, like many other women I am sure, I struggled with my weight (pregnancies, perimenopause, menopause…), low mood, depleted energy and tiredness from running a busy household with 4 boys, difficulty falling asleep with an overactive mind, digestive issues, etc. until 12 years or so ago, when I discovered the fundamentals of good nutrition and body detoxification through nutrient dense foods, and the beneficial key elements of mental wellness through the practice of mindfulness, meditation, yoga, nature walks. The "cherry on the cake" however, was discovering and learning about an ancient practice, known to support healthy metabolism and immune function. Today, and after over a decade of practicing Fasting and Intermittent Fasting on a regular basis, I am 20 kilos/3+ stone lighter, and at 60 years of age, I can say I am in better shape than ever.
