My Story ...

For years, like many other women I am sure, I struggled with my weight (over-eating a high carbohydrate diet, pregnancies, menopause…), low mood, depleted energy and tiredness from running a busy household with 4 boys, difficulty falling asleep with an overactive mind, digestive issues, etc. until 12 years or so ago, when I discovered the fundamentals of good nutrition and body detoxification through nutrient dense foods, and the beneficial key elements of mental wellness through the practice of mindfulness, meditation, yoga, nature walks.

The "cherry on the cake" however, was discovering and learning about an ancient practice, known to support healthy metabolism, gut health and immune functions. This ancient practice — essential tool for long-term health in our modern world - is Intermittent Fasting. Today, and after over a decade of practicing it on a regular basis, I can say I am in better shape than ever.

The biggest improvement I saw though was when I emphasised on eating more fibre rich nutritious foods, super foods and fermented foods such as kefir, sauerkraut, kombucha, etc.

My digestive system is now full of healthy bacteria and other microorganisms that help with my digestion and boost my immunity. I am rarely sick and I feel younger than I did 10 or even 15 years ago. I considerably slimmed down, lost my belly fat, have more energy, and I definitely have a happier and healthier gut, free of antacids, pain killers, and regular laxatives.

I transformed my lifestyle, and now my passion is to see you transform yours.

Corinne Carthy

I am a qualified Nutritional Therapist, a Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach (IINH) and a Fasting Coach (ISUPNAT) trained in the "Buchinger" fasting method. I runs 6-day residential detox fasting retreats in Ireland, and online health & wellness coaching programs, all incorporating some form of intermittent fasting lifestyle.

I am also a trained (YA)500 hour Yoga Therapist (YTI) specialising in Yoga for people with Parkinson’s Disease (PD), movement disorders and seniors, and a PWR!Moves Instructor (a PD-specific functional exercise and physical therapy programs).
